In module 1, we’ll help you assess your strengths and weaknesses as a candidate and set realistic and attainable goals for majors and colleges.
By the end of this module, you will set a timeline so that you can stay on track to completing critical college application milestones, including letters of recommendation, selecting your major, sending standardized test scores, and submitting supplemental materials.
It’s not enough to pick your favorite college, you have to have a balanced and comprehensive list of college to assure you have a plan A, and plan B and a plan C for getting into your dream schools.
By the end of this module, you will learn how to research colleges and select reach, target, and safety schools. You will also have a plan to decide if and where to apply Early Decision I and Early Decision II.
During this module, you’ll revise or begin your Common Application or Coalition Application essay. We’ll focus on helping you find and frame your story so you can create a strong emotional connection with admissions officers. By the end of this module, you will have a draft of or refine your personal statement. Template provided.
In this module, we’ll help you come up with your unique value proposition to colleges – why YOU belong there and how you will contribute.
By the end of this module, you will have a draft of or be in a position to refine at least one supplement essay. Template provided.
Resume and Activity List Creation.
In module 5, we’ll help you build a resume that accurately and powerfully demonstrates your achievements. Your resume will magnify your incredible impact and depict an accurate and impressive picture of your accomplishments.
For your college applications, you’ll need to present your activities efficiently and effectively (in 150 characters or less on the Common Application)!
By the end of this module, you’ll have the resources and information you need to complete your list of accomplishments. Templates provided.
